Default I think the c-pillar bar does somehow make a difference...

Now I didn't buy the c-pillar bar thinking that i'd actually feel a difference in turns, cus i don't drive my car like a maniac on streets anyways. The main reason was that i wanted to quiet down the hatch, which i think it did a very good job of. But, recently i started to hear some noise back there, as if the bar had loosened. So, today i took a peek at the bar and lo and behold, the nuts for the bloody thing and the bar itself were loose! It was almost as if i didn't tighten down any of the nuts!

I'm not sure what it all means, but for sure i know now that our hatches flex a LOT. I remember tightening everything down VERY securely. My hatch must have gone through hell to have loosened the nuts and moved them about 10 threads away. So maybe this means that it might help if you race/autox your car?
