Its verry dangerouse! that is for race/track use and was not intended for people to sit in the back with it installed it can cause seriouse damage to the persons skull, i never let anyone sit with it installed thats why i like my em-racing pillar bar it has a quick reliease making it easy to remove if someone sits in the back seat.

The c pillar bars that most people have are hollowed out and easily bend. The human skull is much stronger compared to that and upon impact would definitely bend something that weak. I attend UW and have my double major as Anatomy, you'd be surprised by the strength of the human body and the weakness of an ebay hella Jdm c-pillar bAr DaWG!

Re: death by c-pillar bar??????
Use common sense. There's a freaking metal bar going across where someone's head is supposed to be, of course you don't want anyone sitting back there. It's thickness doesn't matter, it'll still be like someone cracking you in the back of the head with it.

Re: death by c-pillar bar??????
Just recently I saw a civic equipped with a c-pillar bar with 3 passengers sitting in the back. All three heads lined up like sitting ducks along the metal bar. Can you imagine rear end impact? I just took a big sigh and hoped for the best.
Really, does this need explanation??

Re: death by c-pillar bar??????
This thread wasn't about someone getting a booboo from a c pillar bar. It was if someone would get killed.
The answer is no. A c pillar bar alone will not kill someone.
C pillar bars are hollow and built out of thin walled aircraft grade aluminum or thin walled stainless steel.
