i really have no clue what i have in this car, i got it for a fair deal and i was wondering what i could expect. a guy in the civic forum said i have this (((B18B)))
and the tech at my dads shop who is heavy into imports confirmned this. so i have the money to get a turbo kit but i was wondering what kind and how much hp i should maybe get? thanks in advance guys.

 

if its a bone stock LS motor, you should get around 350whp + using a good fuel engine management like Hondata or AEM.

 

umm if its a stock LS motor you shouldnt get ANYWHERE near 350 WHEEL Horsepower if you want it to last more than a few months. If you get a good turbo set up and really good engine/fuel management like hondata and a good tune, I would personally shoot for 280 whp tops on the stock motor.

i agree 280 tops and thats gonna be on around 11 or so psi. which will actually be really. u gots to remember thats alot more to turboing and getting those numbers than just the turbo kit. if u wanna push that psi your gonna want a good fuel management system (aem, hondata, or uberdata), new injectors, tuning, and definetly a new clutch. good luck.

 

at 14psi on a all stock ls my friend made 270+ with a t3 super 60 blew his motor couple months later......


thats pushing it asking for a cracked sleeve....which how his ended up
