Default open downpipe question

my car is dynotuned with hondata s200 w/boost. if i took out my cat, would that make me run lean? if so, would it be dangerous to drive it 1 1/2 hrs to the track and race it or ? i dont have the money to get it tuned again on the dyno.

it may make you run slightly more lean, but not too much with a test pipe.

I hear ya man. Dyno tunning is expensive as hell.

You should ask your tuner about this for he would have a better answer.

I would ask whomever tuned it. You may have a little extra fuel if it is a "safe" tune. It may also not lean it out too much with the exhaust off. Do you have an A/F gauge? It's not good to tune with, but it gives you an idea of whats going on...

Ever tried going with an E-Cutout route?

Open downpipe with the option of keeping it stealth with your current exhaust setup.
