Default how much to install rods and pistons

I am wanting to get aftermarket rods and pistons installed on my RSX.
I went to a shop and they quoted me kinda high... so i was wondering how much it usually coast to get this work done
Also, has anyone had any experience with the JE pistons and eagle rods that they sell on clubrsx? I noticed that they only have 2 pistons 10:6:1 and 9:0:1 one is to high compression and the other is to low..... what do you guys think about that? any other alternatives?
thanks

I notice the RSXsT with 300 hp and 270 tw, is that yours? It may sound stupid but I don't think that is safe to make that much power with a turbo setup on stock compression pistons, IF it is the same car you are looking at putting pistons/rods in.

run the 9:1 pistons. let the turbo do the work and stop worrying about grenading the engine.

I have thought about doing this but my turbo is pretty small (17G) its actually called the t517Z. SO i'm not sure that my little turbo will be able to pull the whole deal.

Yes, that is my car. The car has been highly tuned and been runing this setup for almost a year with no problems. IT has bigger injectors to compensate for fuel and methanol injection to allow me to run more timing with the highcompression.
The car is runinig the hondata pro, so everything has been carefully tuned by adams automotive ( the car has more than 200 pulls on the dyno and around 125 tuning hours).
PS:my redline was also raised to 9000 and it goes up there quite frequently.

the price will be pretty high, because you have to do alot of work to get them in; I would say $500 or thereabouts, depending on the shop; could be more.

If you want a rate inbetween from JE, they can make it for you custom, and it does not cost too much more (if any). We are sponsored by them and if you PM me, I will give you a contact number if you want to try and get some made. but as the fellow said above, I would just get the 9.0's and never have to worry about it again

I recently did some research on these pistons and rods for one of our customers cars and found out that the Eagle rods are too long for use in the RSX-S but can be used with a thicker head gasket or through the relocating of the wrist pins up higher into the piston. Needless to say not wanting to play clearance games, after more research and finding out that the Crower rods were on 6 week B/O we decided to go with the Carrillo rods of the correct length. We also went with the JE 10.6:1 compression piston for a Jackson Supercharged car with the upgrade package (and maybe nitrous!). When I get to work tomorrow at Price Honda/Acura I can give you a price quote that we are charging for the installation of these parts.

10.5 Hours @ $79 an hour = $829.50 here at Price Acura.
