Did a 98 H22A swap into a 94 Accord last weekend. Runs fast as heck!! Also did this brake upgrade and wanted to share:

He has a 94 Accord EX sedan with the ~10.2" front brakes.

We got the *complete* front knuckle off an Accord V6/Wagon. These are the 11.1" brakes that use the Type R calipers. They *bolt right up*. We switched the entire knuckle assembly, and put Type R brake pads in there.

The things stops *Much* better than it used to with the smaller front brakes.

Definetly a worthwhile upgrade, and hey they bolt right up~

Cool man. Been there, done that though. Next step is to see if we can use a Prelude knuckle/hub/rotor so we can lose the PITA Accord hub-over-rotor design.

 

Oh and since the wagon and V6 hit our shores before the ITR, it's really the Type R that uses Accord wagon/V6 brakes

 

excuse me...

1991 NSX, the same brakes, just dual piston calipers

 

if i could find those NSX calipers, that would be icing on the cake for me

 

Acura Legend calipers have actually bigger pistons.. And can be found cheaper

 

wait, they use the same pad size, i beleive they are similar to the v6 calipers im using yes/no, is there a place like majestic on the web that i could look at acura stuff too?

 

NSX/ITR/Legend/CL-s/Prelude/Accord type R-Wagon all use the same brake pads basically..

Calipers are slightly different, NSX and Legend and maybe CL calipers are dual pistons, just the Legend rotors have bigger pistons, then the NSX, i know that for sure..

 

How do you know all this Corey?
So I could go with a Prelude knuckle/hub/rotor and Legend calipers?
