Brian Sharer hit 9.9 in the 1/4 off a stock 5.0 HO and a pair of .60/.63 T3's from 2.3 turbo Fords, using a combo of crush and crinkle bent scrapyard pipe. Yeah, I'm sure there would have been a significant gain from using all mandrel - or at least all crush bent - but it goes to show those that DO get further than those who obsess over a thousand tiny expensive details and take forever fielding a car.

I'm running a 2 1/4" outer diameter section of flexible steel pipe on my Revhard setup right now.

In my case, it made it possible to run from the intercooler to the charge pipe without making my bumper bulge out.

I'm not 100% convinced that it doesn't leak boost, but I plan on hooking it up to a bike innertube this weekend to find out if it's really sealed or not.

what kind of piping? flexpipe stuff or the crush bent pipe?

if its crush bent im sure it will be fine, air just wont flow as smoothly... prolly will hurt hp numbers but nothing noticeable i bet.

flexpipe i wouldnt even bother bc it will leak.

You got it right about the flexpipe. I tested mine today and boy is it leaky. So yeah, don't use flexpipe.
