Intercooler Piping
I had this happen to me about twice:when Im driving and going under boost after a period of time a part of the piping pops off. This sucks. Is there anyway to prevent that from happening? better clamps or something else?

Re: Intercooler Piping (revhrdls)
use aircraft quality hose clamps cost like 2 bucks a clamp but they use nut and bolt to hold it down. Second thing is roll the outer edge of the pipe.

I've done the weld beads and they work good. Rolling the pipe disrupts the air flow.
The good clamps help too.
Some people use a sticky substance, don't know what it is.
