How do you tell your oil pump is bad after disassembling it?

Default How do you tell your oil pump is bad after disassembling it?

Could your oil pump go bad even if it doesn't look like it?

Heres mines...

look for stress fractures. I broke 3 pumps. I now have a prodrive but worried about breaking the case

only thing i really notice is little scoring that looks like it would be from regular wear... i can catch one or 2 scars when i pass fingernail over the scars and the rest are slight scars.
