Z6 into an EK?

I got a EK motor cause my y8 is shot.. will the z6 fit in a EK chassi?

it probably would bolt in, just remember y8 is ODB II and z6 is IDB I so you will probably have to get a wireharness plus ECU

And also, what is "shot"? Is it repairable within reason of cost?

The engine is repairable but.. i can get this Z6 for less then it would cost to fix the Y8

yes it will swap... but there are extra sensors. and in most cases its not a legal swap due to the fact in most states: you must swap a motor from the same year car or newer...
