Does anyone know of a good place to get my R tuned at around baltimore i know there is alot but i want to have some opinions on what ppl think of certain shops they go to

 

well, if you're in baltimore there should be plenty of guys that are around to help you tune it. I was with a few of the NoVa boys when i was out there and they said Steve Sakai (SgT) was in the area and i believe he's one of the better tuners out there. I can also talk to my buddy Jason ( 1.8 Type R ), he's got a turbo R thats making good power and he lives out in the Rockville area. Try PMing any of them.

I can tell you this though, im very weary about shops atleast in my area. There is not 1 shop in Chicago that i trust. Not 1 shop. Most of the shops here have done shady work, i've worked at one of them myself and seeing the " behind the scenes" crap at those shops really have me worried about shops and their quality with the exception of "The Whipfactory" that Superdave builds at. Aside from The Whipfactory out here, all the other 10 shops or whatever really get a from me. Just make sure that when you bring the car in to a shop, that they are reputable. Half the time, a lot of the shops were just started out with OG. Riceboys that wanted to make money off the scene, not real car enthusiasts that were trained in auto-tech.

I would honestly look into smaller shops, not the big ol' name brand shops. The less volume of cars, the higher the quality.
