Tricks to finding a exhaust leek in eg hatch???
Well guys about a month ago i had a es sport muff installed and i have taken my car back 2 times cause there is a exhaust leek that is pouring in by the shift linkage. I know that hatches have a problem with exhaust coming in through the hatch but the other day i had the sun beeming in and saw exhaust come in by my face out out the window. I know of the smoke bomb trick to see if its coming in through the hatch but how can i find out where its coming from up by the header and cat??
I hate driving my car now cause i feel sick when i drive it help out fellas

A trick ive found for finding an exhaust leak in the system itself , Now its usually easier to jack up the front of the car in your case, Now start up the car like you normally would go under the car, and have someone hold a towl or rag over the exhuast creating back pressure, If you have a leak it should come out of the hole where ever it is more clearly now. if theres no leak you wouldent be able to hold the tail pipe closed. Btw exhaust gas is very HOT so dont just use your hand id use a wet towl (seals better and dosent heat up to fast) Be carefull but that methode hasent failed me yet.
