I dunno about the es100's but the 712's transfer alot of road noise.

One good thing about the 712's is that they have some meat on the sides of them so you dont have to worry too much about bumping the curb. This is with a 205/50/15 on a 15x7 rim so it may be a little different on your 17's.

I was having this dilema but between some azenis and the es100's both very good tires but I heard from a friend who had experience with them in the rain that they suck ***** (the azenis that is) but not too much about the es100's... any input??

Azenis = Awesome dry, acceptable wet, horrible in puddles

712's and ES100, I'd just go with whatever is cheaper, although I hear better things about the yoko's.

I've had both, the es100's are 100x better IMO. Not as noisy, stickier, MUCH better in the rain.

I got my AVS almost 2 years ago. For $55 each (195/50/15). Best bang for my buck evar. I would say these tires are great for daily drivers.
