Default Transmission Question

I have 147K miles on my 93 Accord. I live on a hill. I need to back my car out of my garage--I back on a decline. I stop the car, and when I shift to D there is this "scraping" sound. I assume this is the transmission.

Is my transmission a goner? If so, how much longer will I have.

Yep, I skipped the major service for 50K miles. Went cheap and went to a specialist. I told him about the trans fluid. He always looked at the fluid and told me it was fine.

Went to another specialist and he told me that you have to do the trans flush at least every 20K miles for these Accords or they are a goner.

Don't go cheap. You'll get bitten.

Appreciate any and all advice...

Default Re: Transmission Question (A340600)

i have never heard of a transmission making a scraping sound, but i am not saying it isn't. I would take it to honda and have it looked at it could be something else.
