Default JDM Conversion Radiator Support

I've heard you can either cut half of the support and weld it onto what you already have on the usdm or take off the usdm and put on the entire jdm support. What is the advantage to either side and which do you guys recommend? Any insight would be highly appreciated!

Search - this has been covered many times. There's one thread that includes a detailed step-by-step with pics. I believe it may be in the FAQ.

Yeah... I searched after I posted... just wanted to know if there are advantages and disadvantages of doing either... I guess cutting is the more common thing to do... Thanks guys.

If anyone reading this has an uncut USDM radiator support, I need one.
