Why are some JDM ITRs listed as 197hp, and others at 210hp? Is it year specific, or due to factory mods?

Also can anyone confirm if JDM ITR intake cams are more aggressive and are the valve springs stiffer too?

They are either listed as 197BHP or 200PS. The reason being is 200ps = 197bhp
They were never listed as 210hp

 

DC2 are 200ps or 197hp
DC5 are 220ps or about 216~217hp

 

Thx for clearing that up guys! So I guess the 4-1 header did not gain any hp.

Well, according to honda, the torque peak went up and shifted back due to the
header and other mods.

 

I saw a dyno of a type r with just the JDM type r4-1 headers and it gained about 2hp at the wheels.

 

Thats weak... I've seen about 5 to the wheels.

 

I know hp == horsepower.. But what about ps?
