lip kit installation question?

Default lip kit installation question?

i am going to be receiving a greddy front lip within this week and wondering the best way to install it....people say double sided tape but i dont understand how that is going to hold on the lip when traveling quickly...please help i dont wanna put screws in it really but thats the only way i can think of to make sure its secure...any help would be appreciated thx

I think tape would be good only to hold it in place while you put a few screws in it. Do you realy want to trust tape to keep your nice new $175 lip on the car? I'd use a few screws or maybe even small nuts and bolts if you can.

i had the lip from greddy. i loved it. sadly a big pothole ripped it off my bumper like a month after i put it on.

it came with brakets and screws that screw right onto existing holes on the bottom of your bumper.

it also comes with double sided tape as well, but i didnt even need that. the screws really hold it in place.

im opting for a oem lip now.

yeh 3m is what i used with my type-r lip on a 96 civic hb..never came off..
but i used two bolts on the ends, u could not see them..

3m is good 4 lips
