quick front lip question
My type R replica front lip just came in the male from ebay. I put it on to check the fitment and it'll fit alright with some heat. I've read all the lip posts on here and I was just curious how to keep the middle of the lip secure. i was going to do 2 screws on the ends by the tires but I dont know how to secure the middle. I saw one with 2 screws in front but I dont want screws showing. would double sided tape hold up against wind and scrapes? I just dont want my lip falling off. thanks

Re: quick front lip question
I would screw it in or even use some plastic cement...I had a replica before i get my oem lip and ended up hitting a raccoon and the lip snapped off. So I would definitely secure the center of the lip with something double sided tape seems a little flimsy to me.

is there a way to screw it in without the screws showing? I would do underneath but there is a gap between the bottom of the bumper and the lip

I am going to install the lip today then drive it to school. I bought some double sided tape for the middle but I still cant find a spot to screw it in without screws showing....

Get some shorter screws and double sided tape. I have a ebay lip thats similar and i had a screw showing problem. Quik trip to home depot fixed it. I also used a very small amount of gorrila glue in the middle. But be careful if you use it as it expands 3x its normal size, but its the best.

Well I have the double sided tape. I'm going to 2 two screws on the ends, tape in the middle, and figure out a better way for the middle.

Re: quick front lip question
dont say i told you so but when you hit a dip a lil to hard and ur lip cracks where you have the two screws in the middle the double sided tape isnt a bad idea except if you take the bumper of you got the double sided tape still on ur bumper

Re: quick front lip question
well it ended up being crappy double sided tape. (couldnt find 3M) so I stuck 2 screws kinda near the front (ill get pics up). And its Urithane so it shouldnt crack easily
