Default apexi N1 question?!!

This might seem like a silly question..but Im stumped.

Ive have an EG6 hatch, with a cat-back Apexi N1.
The piping runs under the axle, and the can comes out at an extreme angle, it looks cool as ****. now, heres the question:

Two of my buddies have EG6's. With cat-back Apexi N1's.
The piping runs over the axle, and the can comes out at a slight angle. WTF

Identical cars, (supposed to be) identical exsaust systems.
why does mine go under the axle, and his goes over??
did apexi change the N1??
i dont know, hopefully someone out there does.

thanks

They changed the N1 recently, now it goes over the axle I believe.
