hey guys, great site here, i was just curious if anyone knows how hard it is to convert my 88 honda crx si-r to center hand drive. its left right now but i want to be like baby from cash money and be like ''just bought a new car and i spent about a million, i'm in the mother Fin driver seat sittin in the middle'' i already have the gator boots now i just need the middle seat. cost doesnt matter because my new step dad is going to pay for it all, i want to be the envy of all my friends when i turn 15 and get my school permit and start driving to school in the middle, whoodie.

can anyone help me out, i think it would be sweet, if someones got it done post up pics.

hell yay man!!! pimp it out..put in one seat right in the middle...re-locate the gas tank right behind your seat too...better weight distripution! Also you might want to consider making an entire body out of carbon fiber, it'll cut down the weight and make it stronger than the steel body it has. Oh and you can custon make some mounts so you can put the engine in the back...

Then set a V8 right on top of that you dumb rice *****

Don't mess up a CRX..go work with a ...volvo or something. Or since you dad has all this money make a steat legal go-kart since you want a middle seater.

Seriously think about how hard it'd be to get in and out of your car if its a center mounted seat.

If you have all this money to spend on a car then buy something already made and work from there. Almost everyone here is against rice, and you are an EXTREME version of a rice man

 

i dont recall ever mentioning that i refered to my engine as a v-tech, my name in fact has nothing to do with any sort of variable valve timing, but thanks for just assuming everything because i'm young and i want to put my seat in the middle......

i apologize if i offened any 'rice' haters with my apparent ricey idea, i've seen it done in civics before and just thought it would be cool to do in a crx, cool and different than everyone else.

i'll be sure to remember from now on honda-tech = not having an imagination and doing something different than everyone else = rice

i think youd probably have less flaming if you actually took the time and made the effort to pay for this kind of thing yourself. That would get you a lot more respect than if your dad is forking out the money. Sometimes having the "coolest" car isnt about leaving it somewhere for a few days with thousands and thousands of dollars, than picking it up.
