Default Flywheel for B18C

Hey guys, i will be replacing my stock clutch in the spring and while i am doing that i thought about replacing the flywheel. i auto X around 10 times in the spring/summer, and i will be road racing this car starting in the spring. If anyone has experience or advise it would be apprciated.

dont buy a new one, get yrs lightened by a few pounds, you can take easy 5 pounds off the B18C

Get a fidanza aluminum flywheel. You wont regret it. Throttle response and
acceleration will be phenomenal.

Get a forged one.. dont lighten yours. Especially if you plan on racing in any form. Lightening yours weakens it too much and too much possibility of it being off balanced. Get a JUN lightened flywheel like me. You wont regret it!

Or if you want to be cheap, get an ITR one. Its lighter than the GSR one and makes a difference, although not as much as a CroMoly one.

is there a "sweet spot" for the weight of the flywheel? considering i am using a N/A application.

Well I'm also N/A and running a 11lb lightened stock throttle response is real nice especially considering it only cost me $75 to get it lightened. Worth it in my opinion, but if you have the $$$ get a clutchmasters.

are you having any probs with the starter grinding on the JUN flywheel as I have heard this is a common problem with this Flywheel.
