Went to go get dinner tonight and car wouldn't start. Turned key over main relay clicked and fp primed. Motor didn't turn at all. Put car in 5th and pushed it a couple of feet. Still won't start.
Battery had 10.2 vdc. Added some ackrite (distilled h2o) to battery, jump started it and let it run for 15 min. 14.2 vdc when running. Turned it off and immediately back on. It started. 8 hrs later i checked it again 10.2 vdc. I let the car idle when i jump started it.

I was planning to do a battery relocation soon. Is the optima redtop the same size as the oem battery? i need a terminal block that accepts one 2ga wire and splits into two 4ga. can't find one. does anyone know where i can get this?

do you think if i jumpstart it and drive it a few miles it will be good to go? i just need it to last two more weeks. tia
