My options on building the motor. (also added few pictures)
I snapped a few pictures.

you can see where my tuner mounted everything..
Full-race rods or eagles (do i save the money or not)
SuperTech Valve kit or Manley Valve kit (do i save the money or not)
9.0:1 compression or 9.7:1 compression (both at 84mm)
When the car was retuned, the turbo would start to spool around 3500rpms, rather then 4200rpms. I would like to keep the spool time (mid range) due to it is still a street car.
help me out fellas.

Well you were running 81mm before right? I'm sure that the extra 12mm total of bore will help spool up the big *** turbo. Even if you go with a 9.0 to 1 compression ratio.... Go with the Full-Race rods, keep the name brand loyality
What's wrong with the valves? You don't really need to upgrade them, a stock head will easily push 500whp with your setup . .

do the research on rods and valves/valve springs.
both manley valve and ST valves are good stuff as far as I know. both should stand behind their product if anything were ever to go wrong.
im pretty sure that manley makes the rods for the ford gt40. either they have pimp connections with ford, or they know how to design a killer rod (could be both)

supertech, and eagles... save money without sacrifice in performance
maybe full race rods just because that ride is so rediculous... </TD></TR></TABLE>

Jordo, I would go with the Super Tech valve train ... Wait I did ... to save a couple dollars. There is nothing cheap about Super Tech parts and their customer service is top notch. I loved my Manley rods but if you went with Eagle's you could save about $265.00. I dont know if that's much to you but with all the money you are dropping I am sure it is. Again, nothing cheap about Eagle rods. As far as compression goes I know you will be happy with 9:1. This is a street car that's driven every single day so I would recommend 9:1. If you need any help you know howto get in touch with me.

i do want to compete later in life..

manley rods, manley valvetrain
manley rods, manley valvetrain
My opinion is to go either Manley or Crower rods.. regardless of what that guy at the top of the post said.. do not run your stock valvetrain.. Is it worth the money you would "save" to drop a valve? Supertech is very reliable.. I can't comment on the Manley valvetrain since I do not use it. Also I to am
on the 9.0 compression.
on the 9.0 compression.
9:1 on the compression for sure. With 84MM vs. 91MM even dropping 1.6 points of compression it will still feel better on the low end with quicker spool.
About the eagles, I don't think there is anything wrong with them for your setup. We're running a set in my Wife's DSM with a 2.3L stroker and an FP3065, and it's already put out 475 AWHP (not front wheel HP) with LOTS more boost to go. They are very strong rods and I don't see anything wrong with them, but there seems to be a stigma around here about needing to go Crower/Pauter/Whatever because eagles are cheaper. I would not worry about running Eagles, but if it helps you sleep at night spend the extra 300 bucks for some higher priced rods.
