what EXACTLY is done when the internals are forged?

 

you do not have your internals forged, u buy them, forging is a process where for example conecting rods start as a peice of rectangular steel, the forging is the shaping, meaning a mold is made of the final draft then it is like two huge metal pieces slam together on the rectangular blank and start to forge them into the desirred shape... forging is great because u r increaseing the density of the metal when it is slammed together rather then cutting the shape out of existing density

I am not sure but I believe that arp bolts are forged too.

 

are most forged internals heavier than OEM?
