how hot does your turbo teg run?
Just curious how hot people's turbo 'tegs are running and what their setup is. It seems like I run fairly hot (a little less than half way on the stock temp gauge). I have a '94 GSR with a Drag TW/T4 turbo, intercooler, Deltagate (crap) wastegate set at 7 psi, Vortec (crap) FMU, HKS BOV. Stock internals. New radiator was put in before I bought the car last April (all the turbo **** was done b4 I bought it). Anyway, I can feel the heat radiating from the engine area within the car. Any comments or suggestions
Thanks

thats about where mine runs also, one line less than center. im want to get a real tempture gauge to to keep and eye on it.after rideing around for awhile and you open ther hood it feels like your eyebrows are gonna melt off.
That's how hot my car runs too, same setup as yours. i thought about adding a hoodscoop to force some more air into the engine bay when i drive. That's when the darn would actually be useful

You actually want to vent it backwards. So the air gets sucked out of the engine through the hood. Air goes in through the radiator and out through the top.
Its called a "cowl hood" i believe.

I do have an inverted vented carbon fiber hood waiting to be put on (after I resolve some issues with Andy's Auto Sport). That's where my temp gauge is, 1 line before 1/2 way.
