Default block build?

i have a 95 gsr short block that im building and im looking for some sugg. on the pistons and rods. i'll be leaving the head alone (b16) since its already p&p, sksg2, sk s/r. i'll be boring (spl) out the block +.020 getting the crank lightened balanced and knife edged. but i'm lost on which pistons and rods to run. i know i want the cr at least 11.5:1 but not really more than 12:1. it's my daily driver so it'll be running on shitty 91 oct. i want the comp. to wake up my cams and am shooting for 200whp. can you guys give me any sugg. on what you would or do run? thanks

use GSR rods , ARP rod bolts

and get USDM ITR pistons or JDM ITR if you want a little more compression.

A+

thanks, it looks like if i use the jdm spec ones my cr would be about 11.84:1 which is around what i was looking for, but i'm looking to spin it to 9k when at the track. i'm sure it will handle it cuz my b16 does now. but just want to make sure stock rods and pistons (oem) can hold up. i dont want an extra hole in the block it already has enough

eagles are heavyer than stock rods. in a N/A application the rods are NOT the weak link. thats why you should use stock over eagles. you want a light rotating assembly.

isn't that like 8.5lbs? wouldn't that take away from the enerta (spl)? although your focus is road racing so it would benefit in that aspect.

I would stay with all OEM parts if your going NA especially for a daily driver. you could probably get away with running some P30 pistons that wouild give you some good compression!!
