Use your H23 harness. If you have a 92 Si, you will have to add 2 wire for vtec and a ground wire.

If you have a 93+ Si, you are in luck. You shouldn't have to do anything to the harness.

Ok, Well obviously I searched and came up with NOTHING. I know this might be a stupid question but I purchased a JDM H22A motor and the wiring harness comes out on the "drivers side" which would be the passanger side in JDM LAND. So since I have a 93 USDM Si Prelude...and the wiring harness comes out on the OTHER side...Is the USDM wiring harness long enough to reach to where it needs to be plugged in??

You brought up a 20 month old thread? Your question was already answered in this thread.

Yeah, I brought back a 20 month old thread...AT LEAST I F-UCKING SEARCHED! I would rather post in the OLD thread than start a new one. I am tired of people ALWAYS saying **** about bringing up old stuff, then doing the same thing when people post a NEW topic that has already been covered.

My question wasnt answered in here. All I asked was: Is the H23 harness long enough to reach to the other side where it needs to be plugged in?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by AndyD &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Use your H23 harness. If you have a 92 Si, you will have to add 2 wire for vtec and a ground wire.

I understand that ^^^, But thats for wiring a USDM H22A1? A JDM H22A? I just simply asked if it was long enough...or am I going to have to extend it.

Thanks though.

If you put the H23 harness on the H22a in the same manner it came off, you should not have to extend any of the engine harness/ECU harness connections. You may have to add length to maybe the Oil Pressure sending unit wire.

There are no major external differences between a USDM and JDM H22 engine which is why you don't have extend harnesses.

For what it's worth, good job on searching, I just typed "You brought back a 20 month old thread", because the question was answered in the thread, maybe just not in the terms you wanted it in.

Any other questions? Use your axles, use the H22 ECU, make sure you are wired for VTEC, connect all your grounds, check all your vacuum lines are connected right. Should fire up.

The only reason I was asking is becaus of the locations of the ECU's in the JDM and USDM...They are on opposite sides due to the drivers side difference on the cars.
