mod b18b or swap in a b18c5?
Then you waste your money.
The only B16 I might think about would be a B16B ( Easy to convert to ITR). The B16's just don't make any good torque unless you go turbo.
Turbo the LS or swap in the ITR fo ease of maintenance and reliability.

im doing a custom kit. i've been getting some of my stuff for some cheap price. an example would be airesearch t3 for 120. building a custom kit would be cheaper then buying a complete kit. i have only wasted 500 right now. i have gotten a drag3 manifold, turbo, and intercooler.

You haven't wasted anything.

everyone always complains about the b16 being torqueless but they forget about the principles of torque multiplication. the b16 when using the b16 trans that comes w/ the swap is crazy. the gears make it feel like there is torque. a b16 integra is faster than a b18b integra. theres integras in other countries that come w/ b16's (even dc's)... so its not like its wierd or anything.
heres an example of the gains you get from a b16 (using a b16 trans)
on average the DA LS runs low 16's
on average a b16 LS runs low 15/high 14's
the DA LS weighs a little over 2600. thats about the same as a DC LS.
DC2's (gsr's) run low 15's/high 14's.
i think the b16 is a great little motor. if you're looking to go turbo though, i'd suggest just keeping the LS or getting an LS on the side to build... then turbo that.

there is a guy in my country selling a b16 engine with block guard, cam gears, ls tranny with quife diff, act cluth, clutchmaster flywheel for about $2000
there is also a guy who's gsr cought on fire. but i don't think the guy will sell the engine.
I don't know what to do buy the b16 or order a JDM or USDM type R engine
