someone please answer this. im cuttin the hole in my header tomorow and welding in the fitting. i thought #1 was where to put it. but i wanna make sure.

why's that? wouldn't you want it on the runner farthest away from the throttle body? apexi ss gt headers come with egt probe thread on the 4th runner and that was the explanation. i'm just curious...

i always thought everyone used their number 1 cylinder for an EGT but i could be wrong. bump

I've got a B18C1 and it is indeed on #3, 1" away from the head.
