soft parking brake after major service, tension?
My girlfriend's car just had major brake work done at a local Just Brakes. She got new rotors, calipers, the works.
Since the service, the brakes work great, but the parking brake is much, much easier to pull back. It goes all the way to the end of its range of motion without much effort. The brake still engages, but I was a little concerned that it may stop doing so later if the cable stretches a but (it is a cable, right?).
Is this normal/acceptable or did someone get lazy (i.e. adjusting the tension on something)? It definitely feels much softer than any other car I've ever been in.

So adjust it. If it's a 4th gen, it's right under the center console. You may be able to get to the bolt through the little door in the bottom of the storage compartment where the arm rest is. Don't remember exactly...
