Default EM1 parking brake trouble

so yeah, something has to be wrong with my parking brake.

First symptom: in order to not move while parked on my driveway which is semi steep, i need to yank the parking brake all the way. and it goes up fairly easily; id be able to pull it another 5 clicks if the center console didnt stop it

symptom #2: when i went to adjust the cabled according to the manual, the equalizer was crooked when yanked up. il include the picture.

symptom #3: when the parking brake is down, there is still drag on both wheels.

if i had to guess (From my research), it seems maybe a cable has been streched, or maybe the pin isnt contacting the lever correctly? I'm going to buy brake pads soon as i get money to, but any help is appreciated.

completely disengaged:

and completely engaged (it starts tilting at 3 clicks):

It looks like the pass side cable is seized up. I would replace it maybe both if you have the cash.

If you remove the cable from both rear calipers, do the brakes still drag? If so, you have a caliper problem.
