Default MAP Settings for SOHC VTEC.....

From searching I've found that XS Engineering has the best Map setting for SOHC VTEC....

Is this true or is there better...most knockoff MUGEN, JUN, SKUNK2, ETC...MAP settings run too rich and are just copys of real racing MAP setting that has MOds that we don't have....so it's basicly useless...

Best thing to do is get a system, such as Hondata, etc.. so you can modify the settings. OF course not all cars are going to run the same, so it's best to get something and tune it with YOUR mods.

I don't want to go that route it's to much $$$ for hondata and dyno tuning...too much $$$

a chip is the best way to go, but which one? so you guys with experience respond...I hate people who thinks they know stuff but they never even tried it.....

and don't anyone start saying "it depends on what mods you got"

I got all bolt ons.....and putting in cams doesn't do **** if you don't got the best MAP setting...so stock cam are good enough...

Chip chip chip.. go Uberdata then.. The software is free.. you'll spend about $140 for the hardware, and $400 for a wideband o2. All you need is a computer to capture the data, modify it as you need, and "re-burn" the "chip". Since you already have SOHC VTEC, assuming 92-95 Civic ex/si ecu (P28)..

here's more information:
