Default GSR->R Noticable Gains?

Im not sure where this belonged, but I figure this forum would be my best bet b/c many of you guys have swaps and I figure I would get the most feedback here.

Well before any of you guys hound me about the search button, I used it. It's just sometimes you cant always find exactly what your looking for. I have seen a few garphs on here, but all compare itr camshafts to various other brands. The problem with that is that they already have the itr cams on, so it cant really answer my question.

Ok so I have a B18c (GSR) and I have done almost every bolt-on excluding the fuel system. The motor is tuned and making 184whp. It quick, but I want a little more. I want to go with itr camshafts b/c I dont want to have to spend money on other valvetrain requirments that are recommend with stage cams by aftermarket companies. But will the itr cams make a big difference over my gsr cams?

Basically, I just dont want to spend the money if I am not going to like the results.

you could just go with ITR pistons as well as the cams.

not a big difference....why not just go with some skunk2 cams...stage 1 or stage 2 would be even better than the r cams

unless u can get a great deal on the r cams

I know this doesn't answer your question, but my friend put skunk2 stage1's on his GSR and it was quite noticable after he got it tuned.

Yea, but they say that you should do valvetrain upgrades and I am not trying to spend a whole lot. I just want a mild, but noticable upgrade. I would love to go with skunk2 stage 2 cams, but it requires further modding...am im not sure how much more that will cost

stage 1 cams do not need valvetrain upgrades

if u want stage 2....itr springs retainers and valves are fine...so im guessing the gsr would be okay, but not recommended
