Default $15 forged stainless shifter

Ordered a short shifter from http://www.raretrick.com for $15, under the clearance page. It's advertised as "Forged 304 Stainless Steel. Reduces throw up to 46%. B&M Made and Designed for quick hard throws." Another $10 for shipping.

It isn't an actual B&M, but looks like a copy. The accompanying instructions say it's from "Mackin Industries" but it's not the bent Mackin shifter sold by Evasive either. Also, the Evasive and B&M are both advertised to be made of 303 stainless while this one is 304 stainless. It is HEAVY.

I'll install it after I pickup some ES bushings and a new shift ****.

Actually Raretrick has the bent ones if you were to have asked him.

What companies make the double bend ones? My short throw is a cheapy one right now but it has no bends and i feel like it sits too close to the dash...

Does that one above only come in straight and single bend?

are you suppose to use your OEM pieces in the bottom of that shifter? or does it come with its own bearings...

I just emailed him and found out that both the dual bend and non-bent are on clearance ... wish I knew sooner but I hope I like the non-bent more!

It uses OEM pieces on the bottom. It comes with a packagage of replacement o-rings though.
