b18 into a CRX shell then turboed? how possible?
Its not hard at all.Swapping the b18 in is as easy as swapping the zc in,just requires a engine mount kit and a cut integra shift linkage. There are turbo kits out for that swap,or you could piece together your own.
nice, thanks for the reply mate. I have a ZC in the car at the moment (euro spec)
Does anyone know any good sites for engine mounts? Can I use stock b18 engine mounts or is it best to go aftermarket?
Thanks in advance

Hasport is the best motor mount company out. http://www.hasport.com/
thanks mate
but how come the mounts are so expensive? Is there a ghetto way of going about this? Can i not use the stock B18 engine mounts and weld them in the engine bay? I heard a few people have to do this for the b16 swaps..
Thanks

you COULD weld em in...
but like you said, it would be ghetto...
personally, i would just go with the hasport mounts... (they're good )
This is the first engine swap ive done, will i need to find a b18 which is obd0 to make wiring easier? or does that not matter?
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance

The setup you are thinking about doing is more than possible. Try Place Racing and Hasport for motor mounts and other related swap items. Hasport has good info and a swap guideline for the different engine swaps. You will probably need shift linkage, mounts, axles, ecu, engine, tranny, wiring harness. There may be more that I forgot to mention.
To turbocharge a CRX, and still have room will also take time. You will or should move the battery to the rear. Get like a battery relocation kit on Ebay or something. You can also get slim/thin fans, use a 92-95 EG radiator, preferably one from the delsol dohc vtec. You can also remove A/C, lines, fan, condesor, etc. to make more room for piping and intercooler. You will also have to be carefull about wich manifold you pick out...Big manifolds built for drag will not be so easy to fit in your chassis cause of radiator clearance issues. Just choose what you can get wisely and you'll be fine. Don't be afraid to take measurements.
