i just purchase a hurst short shifter on ebay for 33 shipped... doesnt any have this installed in their hatch and how does it feel and how low does it sit off the console.. Can't wait when it comes in so i can install it.. DONT i have to drop the exhaust for this? i have a custom 2.5 in exhaust with no cat and welded on test pipe... let me know whats the easiest way to install it.. thanks guys.. one more question does the bend part on the shifter points forward towards the front bumper or backwards towards the rear ?

 

the bend is towards the back of the car.
my friend had one on his del sol it sat pretty high.
very light looks pretty solid.

 

yeah.. i hate it when it sits high.. i used to have a 99 hatch with B&M ... loved it but i sold the car and i wanted to go with something different.. got it for real cheap too soo whatever.. thanks for the info.. i would of installed it towards the front bumper.. haha lol

why do people ask if something is good AFTER they buy it? What if we all said no, it sucks.

 

i dunno.. i just bought it because it was cheap. if you guys all said no then i would of sold it to ricer out here for 50 bucks... thanks for the info guys

 

i put a one on my 98 EX w/ 2in exhaust and i didnt have to drop it, just hope the counterweight dosnt hit going into 5th.
