Default play in steeringwheel is their a fix?

ok i have a 92 honda civic DX sedan with powersteering.

problem is my steeringwheel feels loose when im driving. like i have to constantly more it right to left to keep it strait and my car tends to swerve everywhere i drive.

its like the wheel its self is loose as it connects to the wheels.

is their someway to tighten the steering on the rack or in the rack and pinion?

also i know im due for an ailignment, but my tires have stoped any abnormal wear by my own self alignment. just wandring if their is someway to loose the Play in the wheel buy adjusting something in the rack.

thanks

there should be a few bolts behind the steering wheel. i remember we looked at my friends on his eg and we messed with the bolts. long story short..he was turning right but going straight

Check wheel bearings, tie rod ends, tire pressure, lug nut torque, and get a professional alignment.

well i can't get a professional allignment because no one will do it.

they say they can't because it has adjustable parts and they don't want to mess with them.

WTF its a good camber kit and they don't know how to adjust it. damn i hate my local cities.

anyways tierod ends feel good. no play or excesive movement.
lugs are tight, tire pressure is normal. it almost feels like its a problem with the rack like its loose in their somehow.
