Individual throttle bodies mean that there is one TB for each cylider. (duh)
I don't really know for sure, but I'm pretty sure the main advantage of this mod is more precision controll over the amount of air and the timing at which it enters the cylider. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, and elaborate on what I said.
I.E = BMW M3 vs 330 ci. Very similar engine, but the more performance oriented M3 uses ITB.

Individual Throttle Bodies is for better throttle responds to each cylinder in the motor. A setup can variy from Home made type to pre made models. Do a search on google for more information.
Please dont expect to slap this on your motor and call it a day. There's a thing call FMS to keep your motor running good while using ITB.
I would love ITB for my turbo setup.

The M3 uses ITB's? I didn't know that, learn something new everyday from HT
