Go to a site like http://www.photobucket.com or http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com, sign up for an account. Upload your pictures to the account, it will have an IMG address to use. Click on the little picture icon next to the fonts on the H-T Posting page, insert that IMG link in between those two bracketed IMG tags.

third post i've seen today like this, this needs to go in the appearance and cosmetic forum only, for every/any car... honda-TECH.. that means the "Integra" forum is for integra TECH questions, please be more careful

I have another question. My 93 integra has a b18b motor with an automatic tranny (yes i know.. need to go manual..) anyways. When I took it to carslbad the weekend they closed I ran a 17.4 My friends where telling me that I would have had a much better time if My launch was quicker.. All of my low end torque is gone but once my car reaches about 4500 it pulls like crazy. Does anyone know what the problem could be? off the line its slow untill I hit 4500 when the cars in first. I just recently changed my spark plugs to NGK spark plugs and changed my o2 cencer yet again and it still didn't help. Im also only getting 150 miles to the tank. Please let me know what I should do to improve my gas mileage and also help get all of my power back in my low end and high end torque. thanks

17.4 sounds about right for an 93 GS (you should have a B18A motor unless you did a swap?) with a crappy launch. What was your 60 foot time, trap speed, and 1/8th time? That will help to diagnose whether it was a bad launch or engine problems. It's probably a combination of both. My 92 LS is slow as *****, and 5 spds with no mods usually pull in the mid-16s. I can see an auto doing a 16.9 or worse.

Second issue, if you are getting 150 miles per tank, that just sucks. I have a 92 LS (same motor) with 138k miles, and I easily get 300 miles per tank ~ 30mpg. Do you do a lot of city driving, idling in traffic, etc? You should consider looking into maintenance in order to improve that issue - new fuel filter, new dist cap and rotor, make sure your tires are inflated to the correct psi, valve lash adjustment, injector cleaning, throttle body cleaning. Those are probably the culprits of bad mileage unless you are throwing other engine codes (is your check engine light on?).

Yes I did do a swap. Im currently running a B18B with crappy launch. my time slip read like this

car 72

2.888 60 ft
7.584 330 ft
11.374 1/8 et
65.43 1/8 MPH
17.459 1/4 ET
81.08 1/4 MPH

about the gas miliage. I do alot of freeway travel. I drive about 50-60 miles a day on freeways. 25 to work and 25 back. plus maybe 5-10 on street. when Im on the freeway i do about 85-90 the whole way(unless theres a cop) I have a new fuel filter and new dist car and rotor. My tires are new aswell and sit at about 44 PSI. they rate 52 in the front but 44 in the back. My injectors just got cleaned. and trottle body may be the only thing I havent done yet. My check engine light is off.

Well, a 2.888 60 foot will definitely slow your time. If you had a normal 60 foot time, like 2.0 or a little lower, your time would be closer to mid-16s, which is respectable I guess. When you went to the B18B did you switch to a hydraulic trannsmission?

As for the mileage, man, I just don't know. You seem to have taken care of everything, I am thinking there is something wrong with your fuel pump, timing, valve lash, or else something more than routine maintenance. Oh yeah, just to let you know, don't run the PSI ratings for the tires printed on the outside of the actual tire, use the manufacturer's recommendations on the door jamb of the car. Usually these range between 29-35psi, I think 52 and 44 are way too high.

take the kit and headlights off, slam it, and get a manual b16 tranny. It'll look good and pull hard.

Default Thanks..

Im still running the stock tranny. I found a honda civic with a del sole SI swap made. Its a 5 speed and has a nitrous tank in it with 17 inch rims.. do you think i should buy this car?.. ill post pics as soon as I get them. Thanks for all of your help..

Also when I run the manufactors PSI the tires look really deflated and it squiels around turns and stuff. So shouldnt I keep it at like 42 or something?

Found out my tranny was so bad that when they took it out of the car peices were falling out of the tranny.. bults and bearings and other ****.. just fell straight out on the floor. OUCH damage... is 3400 dollors.. just on rebuilding a tranny. Why cant parents learn.. its cheeper to get a new tranny with ecu and other stuff for 50 bucks.. oh well..

I don't think a mid 16 second fwd car has the nuts to pull a 1.9 60ft. Maybe on slicks. But I would just laugh at that one.
