Default VAFC I/H/E Q?

I have SEARCHED for an answer to this question, to no avail. so please don't flame on.

I have a 97 B18c{r} in my 97 Civic Dx Coupe running the jdm obd2 ecu. My mods are: 4-1 JDM ITR Header, 2.5 Carsound Cat. , 2.5 Piping, Skunk 2 Cam Gears, B&M FPR, and Apexi VAFC.

I wanted to know if I would get any horsepower from tuning I/H/E/CG/FPR/VAFC ? Is it worth paying $100 bux plus to tune it? I don't want to go obd1 (w/ the kenji chip) ... will I see any gains (i know i know)?

Bottom line: is it worth tuning?

Thanks, please don't flame, I've spent hrs searching w/ my 56k thru treads ... no luck

If you tune you will get better MPG at the least.
that there is worth the $100.

You should see some extra power when tuned- if not a smoother power band will be noticed.

Hit a dyno and tune it yourself if you can.

Dude. Yes it is worth tuning. Austin tuned my car and I gained up to 20 whp in some places. Most of the gain was 4-6000, but the powerband was smooth all the way to the top. Tuning is key. 100 dollars is nothing.

header/cat only here... (intake/exhaust = not for me)

vtak has been moved.

WOT settings:
Starting from negative @ ~6000rpm... and getting more negative up till redline.

Partial settings:
Zero (b/c obd2 self corrects)

your settings will vary per your mods and changes should be done by a qualified tuner on a 'good' dyno with wide band sampling.

Sorry to invade on this thread. itr 1244, that has got to be the best sig I have ever seen. I'm high like a **** chillin at work. I think I'll drag my accountant over to my desk for a session now.

To make my invade relavent, I too I'm thinking about a VAFC after I get the DC JDM SS 4-1 with a hi-flow cat and full T1R catback. Hondata just seems to be so much more $$$$$.
