Engine noise please help

Engine noise please help

When my car is idling there is a slight ticking noise, anybody know what could be cause this? Or is this somethings that Honda's just do?

What engine?
Could be tons of things.. injectors?
1st gen B16 engine have a notorious play on the lost motion springs that cause a rattle...

yah it's most likely injectors or your valves need adjustment.

and if your user name means you actually have an 85 civic then i would expect little noises from a car that old!

not exactly sure what engine, just got the car. But its an 85 civic engine number is EV2-1223120

I'm pretty sure its not the injectors since its a carbed engine.

it's old.. does it run good? i wouldnt worry about it.

Car actually runs very well, it only has 143 000 kms on it.
