car runs better with exhaust silencer in
I have a knock off N1 canister muffler on my 4 integra, when i take the silencer out the car runs like absoulte ****, its loud a seems little sluggish, with it in i have better low end and smother thought the band... is this normal?

Is the rest of the motor stock? If it is, i wouldnt be surprised if it ran better with the silencer in, 2.5 piping with no cat is wayy too big for a stock motor.

Ya, with a stock motor the 2.5" piping is a little much. Basically your exhaust is out-flowing your motor, or flowing enough to support a motor with more output. Having the silencer in gives you backpressure which will give you better bottom-end torque and will let you get off the line slightly quicker during normal driving. Having the silencer removed should give you better response and output at higher RPM's, which the LS doesn't do well with in stock trim anyhow. Get more air flowing through your motor and you'll enjoy the free-flowing exhaust more.
