I have everything lined up for my new exhaust system now except for the muffler and piping size. What's a good piping size (3 inch or 2.5 if 3 is too big) for making 300 HP?What's a good sounding exhaust for a Turbo'd Ls?

How good would 3 inch be compared to 2.5? Any Muffler Suggestions?

i hvae a full mandrel 3" and sounds awesome

3" is about .5" better than 2.5"

get a 3 inch as it will promote better spool and more power

if u are worried about sound, you can get a big resonator and a nice magnaflow muffler

i have a friend thats 3 in all the way and is dumped before the gas tank and its not that loud

I have a full 3" Thermal with the resonator Viren was selling. It sounds great and helps me spool up quick, but it is still quite loud. If i were you i'd look into the Thermal installed resonator that is a factory option. Supposed to be free of charge.

werd.. soon to b3 4" all the way back, straight pipe (maybe a resonator, dunno yet)
