Default For those who HAVE installed their Skunk2 Mani.........

Where the hell and what the hell did you do with the IACV? Mine is currently sitting on the runners between the top and the fuel rail...........

Also, the car idles pretty high (1k) and sometimes at 1.5k........

I removed the carcoal canister and all related vaccum hoses and such.
I'm thinking its just a vacuum leak, any thoughts???

Also, i looped the coolant lines going into the throttle body (stock), and the two lines comming out of the IACV.

Anything im missing?

Any tuning suggestions people may have?

Thanks,
Mike

my car idles like stock with the manifold.. maybe you got the IACV connections wrong or something

i dunno, probably one of a 5.0 or infinity j30 or something ghetto like that...........

I don't have another 400 bones to drop on just a freakin TB.........

Nice going with the "L" brackets BTW, did you have to use longer bolts on the IACV? ANd did you bolt to the fuel rail, is that what im seeing in the pics?

nice writeup.

has anyone just connected the IACV but not connected the coolant lines?
On my 5g I had routed the coolant away from the TB and IACV and I had no negative effects from running this way.
