After I recovered it from the impound, my car has been acting weird. First of all my tail lights stay on ALL the time. The only time they are not on is when I remove the fuse under the steering wheel column. Also, my headlight switch is not working. I mean my turn signals work and all but the light switch does not work.

I currently have everything rigged up with a switch but really don't think this all that safe. Reason being is the switch does get pretty hot after a few minutes. Nothing will probably happen to is as I've driven the car for over an hour 15 minutes at night and the temperature does not get any hotter. Anyways, I really really want to get this fixed but have no clue where to begin. Any advice would be appreciated.

 

Hey, you probably already got this taken care of but, if not, it sounds like a short. trace the wires.
