Noises coming from back...
I gutted my hatch about a month ago, and now I hear noises like crazy. Squeaks and ticks and pings. If it's normal, then the noises won't bother me. But you know how you have to LOOK towards the noise in order to locate it? Well, I try to turn around while i'm driving so I can find where the hell it's coming from and that isn't working out to well. And it's not a good idea. I know what rocks sound like so give me that ****. These are consistant, constant noises when I drive. Is this normal?
I hear it from the wheel wells if that helps...even when i'm driving slow.

Mine squeaks all the time going down the highway. It's the LCA bushing, there's a TSB issued from honda about it; and it states the symptoms as a squeaking / clunking noise. I'd check that first, as well as any other bushings while you're under there.

the noises are probably normal. there is some sound deadening materials like jute padding underneath the carpet.... ect..... that dampen most of the noises you would normally hear. when you take everything out the noises that were already there are now audible. this happened to me in my eg hatch. just keep an ear out for abnormally loud squeaks and rattles.

Ya 'cus everything has been removed. I can even hear it when I apply the brakes.
