Switching VIN plates?
I just want to know what is the best way to do so.
The reason I'm asking is because I am replacing my HF blue interior to Si black interior on my CRX. I already have the black dash on hand and would just like to switch plates from my stock dash to the black one without damaging anything.
TIA

I belive its only held in place by 2 revits. I dont really know that for sure as i have never had a reason to take one off. But if thats the case Just drill out the center of revits. Switch the plates and install new revits.
you need the dash tipped out or removed to get to the rivets. you need to drill straight into the center of them with a bit slightly larger than the hole in the rivet. then use a pop riveter and put the new rivets in through the new vin plate. works like a charm.
