Default Transmission? Clutch? Something else?

Sometimes (not always) when I start my car (manual) from a cold start and start driving off, the car will kinda jump. I don't have a great way to describe it, but it will seem like I'm slamming the break on every half a second while keeping the accelerator down, when all I'm actually doing is pressing on the accelerator. It'll do it for maybe 3 - 5 seconds.

I just put a new motor in my prelude about a week ago and it was doing it before that, I thought it would fix it, but it didn't. I put a new clutch in about 9 months ago. This problem only seems to have started about 3 months ago max, only doing it every once in a while. Now it has done it twice in about a week.

Anything?

Right now that's the best way I can describe it, if you need me to try to describe it another way, let me know, I'll do my best.

i dont think its the clutch, my guess is something with the fuel system, try replacing the filter, that helped on my Nissan, or letting it warm up for a few minutes, then revving it to like 5000 rpms like 3 quick times
see if that helps, maybe getting fuel through it better

Could it just be the way you're driving it? I have something similiar, its called boggin out. Too much clutch and not enough gas. Or letting out the clutch too fast. Like popping it out. Its hard to explain. Try feathering the clutch a lil more.

that happens to me a lot, just let it warm up for a few minutes. How does it run after driving for a little while?

what is the MAP sensor again? it's a 92 motor.

It runs fine after that first instance.

I changed the fuel filter not too long ago.

I'll play around with it some more to get a better idea. Thanks.

Sometimes when I start my car and drive away it shakes into gear, or I get a less than ideal start... and my car will hiccup.. people riding wtih me are like "Why are you pressing the gas like that its not funny anymore.." and I'm like dude, I'm holding it down steady...

This is in a proper gear and everything. Does it around 3k rpms and fixes when I turn off car and reverse, then start clean..

I was told its either clutch assymboly coming apart or transmission - i'm most likely replacing both.
