Default Why isn't the supercharger boost kicking in??

I finally managed to install a used JRSC on my 94 GSR.... some reason I am not feeling the boost from the SC... this was my third attemp installing this thing with my buddy... second time everything went well, felt the boost and car was really smooth, reason why we had to pull it apart was that there was a small radiator leak between the mainfold and the engine (due our lack of experience).. so we pulled the whole thing out again and reinstalled the SC.. this time, there is no leak of any sort.. only problem is that I didn't felt the boost... one thign that my buddy and I can think of is that it could be we didn't put enough sealant between the supercharger and the JR manifold this time, compared to how much we put on the 2nd attempt and this maybe somehow leads to some type of pressure or air leak that causes the SC to not work correctly.. can anyone verify this so that we can save time from pulling the sc apart again?? or is it something else that we can do...

Either there is a substantial leak at the manifold, one of the charge pipes blew off, or you forgot to put the belt back on.

If you have a leak in the IM to head, or the IM to blower interface, you'll be losing boost. A guage is the only way to really tell what's going on.

FYI, I had the same problem at one time, and it turned out that my IM was warped, along with my Hondata IM gasket. I would hit 5psi, then drop off to 0. A bit of machining, and it was all better.

If that's the case, you'll still have to remove the blower. On the positive side, I bet you're getting good at the install now.

haha... yeah, seriously I'll be a pro if I keep continuing to do these intallations.. I am finally going to take it into a shop and let them figure it out.... also how did your IM and gasket get warped and how did you find out thats the case? more details (like how much it cost to fix..etc..) would be nice and thank you for good info on this topic..
