Default where should your rpms be when starting up motor (b18c1)

From a cold start my rpms are up @ 2K. I just noticed this recently and thought to myself that it was abnormal. Any ideas

my b16 starts out at about 1500 rpm.

thats normal, then they drop to about 750. when it gets to op temperatures.

Yes. As engine temp increases, idle speed decreases.
